At Hilly Haven Home Co., we want you to feel confident every step of the way. Our FAQ section answers some of the most common questions we hear from our clients so you know what to expect before we get started.

What are your rates?

At Hilly Haven Home Co., we believe in fair, transparent pricing. Consultations are $30, and once you book us for a job, we'll charge $50 per hour of service in addition to material costs.

When are payments due?

We like to keep it simple and stress-free. Consultation fees are due in full at the time of booking. When you hire us for a job, the full cost of materials plus half of the quoted labor cost is due upfront as a deposit. The remaining labor balance is due once the work is complete and you’re happy with the results.

​What payment methods do you accept?

We accept various payment methods to make your experience with us as convenient as possible. You can pay for our services using cash, checks, or secure electronic payments via Venmo or PayPal (@hillyhavenhomeco).

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change—life happens! If you need to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Consultation fees are non-refundable, as are deposits for scheduled jobs, as they reserve your spot on our calendar and cover planning time. Any materials purchased for your project are billed at the time of order and cannot be refunded once purchased.

When can I schedule my project?

Projects are scheduled based on our availability and the times that work best for you within our business hours. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we’ll have in finding a time that fits seamlessly into your calendar.

How do I schedule a service with Hilly Haven?

We'd be thrilled to help you with your home project! If you know what you need, simply reach out by email or through our Contact form to get started.

Do I have to schedule a consultation first?

We generally require a consultation to talk through your needs, see your space, and take any measurements before we provide you with an estimate. There may be instances where a consultation is not required, such as an appliance repair job, but a consultation is usually recommended at the very least, if not required.

What are your business hours?

Hilly Haven Home Co. currently provides service on weekday evenings and weekends. Our business hours are as follows:
 

M-Th 4:00-9:00 pm

F 4:00-10:00 pm

Sat-Sun 7:00 am-10:00 pm
